One joystick – full control of engine, bow thruster and stern thruster
SeaControls takes the next step in easy and safe boat handling. C-Station Docking Control is now fully integrated with Sleipner’s bow and stern thrusters, making it possible to control the main engine, bow thruster and stern thruster together from a single joystick.
The result is easier, smoother and more precise manoeuvring – especially when docking, in crosswinds, in tight harbours and other situations where full control of the boat is essential.
C-Station and Sleipner work together
After extensive development and programming work, the new generation of C-Station can communicate directly with Sleipner’s propeller system.
The system coordinates the boat’s various control functions in real time. When the driver moves the joystick, C-Station distributes the control between the main engine, bow thruster and stern thruster to perform the desired maneuver.
This means you don’t have to switch between several different controls and can instead concentrate on where you want the boat to move.
Our goal has been to create the most intuitive docking system on the market. Through the new integration with Sleipner’s propeller system, the user gets seamless control where all control functions work together in a single system.

The advantages of C-Station and Sleipner
The new integration provides, among other things:
- Full compatibility with Sleipner’s bow and stern thrusters
- Control of main engine, bow thruster and stern thruster from the same joystick
- Proportional and smooth control
- High precision during low-speed maneuvering
- Easier docking in narrow harbours
- Better control in wind and current
- Shorter learning time for new boat owners

C-Station can be installed at different levels depending on the boat’s equipment and the boat owner’s needs.
It is now possible to order C-Station joystick control for Sleipner’s bow and stern thrusters.
For those who want to take the next step, the system can also be expanded to a complete docking system where the main engine is integrated with the bow and stern thrusters in the same joystick.
This means that C-Station can be adapted both for new installations and when upgrading an existing boat.
Easier and safer docking
When berthing, there are often several controls that need to be handled simultaneously – engine, gear, bow thruster and sometimes even stern thruster.
With C-Station, the functions are combined into a common joystick control.
This makes it easier to:
- move the boat sideways
- correct the bow or stern
- keep the boat under control in crosswinds
- maneuver in limited space
- berth with a smaller crew
The goal is not only easier maneuvering, but also increased safety on board.
